Frequently Asked
Questions (FAQ's)
Question: How
many Clubs can there be in a city?
Answer: Unlimited.
We think there could be as many as 20 different Clubs in a city
the size of San Diego or Atlanta.
Question: Do
all Clubs meet at 7:30 AM every week?
Answer: No.
Business is conducted differently in every city or section of
a city. Clubs can start their meetings at different times and
can choose to meet less frequently if they so choose.
Question: What
is the suggested dollar amount to charge for meeting rooms and
refreshments?
Answer: Each
Club will have different requirements. Some Clubs will be meeting
in Four Star hotel meeting rooms and others will meet at a local
restaurant or inexpensive meeting space. It will depend on the
Club.
Question: Can
there be an all women's Club? Can there be an all men's Club?
Answer: Yes,
a Club can have a membership of all women or all men, although
we think that would be a mistake.
Question: How
many members need to be registered with a new local My Referral
Club before you activate a local Club web site for
them?
Answer: Only
one. We want to make it easy for that one committed individual
to quickly attract a core group and to allow them to easily
apply/register for membership.
Question: How
does a new member make agreements to pay their initial Registration
fee and ongoing Membership fee?
Answer: We
use a company named Pay Pal to process our fees. They accept
credit cards, debit cards and checks and set up an automatic
payment program for each of our members. Pay Pal is one of the
most respected and secure payment programs on the Internet. We also accept checks for a full year's membership.
Question: When
does a new member have to pay his/her $50 membership fee?
Answer: The
fee is due when a member is accepted for membership and completes
his/her application process, which includes our Pay Pal portal.
Question: Why
is it important for the Club to add members quickly?
Answer: Momentum
is everything, and more members make the Club successful. It
is difficult to give referrals to only 7 or 8 other members.
There are simply not enough business categories. When a Club
reaches 30, 40 or more members, just about everywhere you go
and whomever you talk with will have some interest in at least
one of your member's services.
Question: Why
is there a Customer Protection Commitment?
Answer: It
is one of the most powerful aspects of My Referral Club.
When talking with someone who could use one of your Club member's
services be sure to discuss the
Customer Protection Commitment and give them a Club brochure. Explain that
peer pressure in your Club is a highly motivating factor and
causes everyone to give extraordinary service. No member wants
to become known as someone who gives poor service. His/her referrals
would most certainly dry up.
Question: Is there a set structure for local Clubs?
Answer: We expect the way our local Clubs operate, and the manner in which meetings are held, to be somewhat the same. Our Bylaws are designed to allow each Club the operating flexibility to manage their own unique requirements for creating a successful Club.
Question: If we already have a Club, would it be very difficult to create a My Referral Club for our members?
Answer: It's quite easy. You can even keep the name of your Club. This is especially a good idea if you would like to accelerate the Club's growth while making all the operations of the Club easier. Contact us and we'd be happy to tell you more.
