Start Your Own Club
Starting a local My
Referral Club is easier than you may think. In fact, there
really isn't a great deal that you will have to do. All aspects
of a local My Referral Club are located right here
on our web site and designed to allow you to easily and quickly
"fill in the blanks" to set up a new Club's web pages.
Here are a few things
to consider:
- We would expect
you or someone in your initial core group to become the President
of the Club for its first year and be responsible for setting
up and conducting the Club's meetings. That's not to say that
as the Club grows and the key management positions are filled,
that others won't take on necessary Club responsibilities. It's
just that until the Club is up and running smoothly, you will
need to be the key, accountable person.
- Will you be in for
the long haul? It may be that the Club won't grow to 20, 30
or 40 people in just a few months. You have to be willing to
stick to it, to work at it, to be committed to your Club's success.
- There is a benefit
to being the Club's President for its first year. You will be
the person everyone in the Club will know better than anyone
else, which should translate into lots of referrals. And you
will be able to fill key business categories in your Club with
people you know that can benefit you the most.
- Computer skills
are not required to start a Club. All of the Club's database
pages are designed for easy completion and updating.
- The following discussion
points will give you useful information if starting a Club is
of interest to you. These discussion points have been organized
as a road map for getting a new Club up and running.
